A hole with some cement!

Thought I would post the latest pics of our house. Right now it doesn't look like much and honestly I am confused by it all but I know Ryan does this for a living so I will let him be the expert and wait until there is a structure there!
Hope everyone had a good week. This weekend is a busy but relaxing one for us. Tomorrow I am going out to eat with some girlfriends and then Saturday Sean has a bachelor party. Sunday we have nothing planned but going to church and then Monday we will be visited by the Trammel clan! I will be sure and post some pictures from our weekend! HAVE A GOOD ONE!

PS My cousin Kelly has started a blog too so be sure and check her out....especially all of the Ross Aunts and Uncles that are watching us;)

What a great way to spend an evening!

For those of you that haven't heard we are having a weight loss challenge in our family! The M&M (McMeen & Moscardelli) weight loss challenge. Both parties decided that it was time to shed some pounds so in November the losing couple will have to buy the winning couple dinner wherever they want to go! Due to this we have really been trying to do as much activity as possible which is good for us and good for Tristan and Isabelle. Last night we decided to have a picnic at the park (food provided by Subway) and then Isabelle and I walked the trail around the park and Sean and Tristan played for a while, then walked with me and then back to playing. We had such a great time at the park. We were a little nervous that Tristan wouldn't sit down and eat his food since the slide would be staring him in the face but he sat right down and actually ate better then he does when we are at home at the table! He even said Eat Fun! I told Sean maybe we should eat at the park more often if he eats all of his food! It was such a beautiful evening! I hope that you all are getting out enjoying this wonderful wonderful weather we are having. We forgot the camera last night so no pictures to diplay but I promise to take some when we venture back to the park on Thursday!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

What a week!

Sorry I have not posted all week it was a crazy crazy week to say the least. We had a little sitter drama (which all is fine...we love you Jen!), we had a sick Daddy, a busy busy week at work for me, and we had Tristans first time of getting sick! Boy did that scare him to death! He looked at me and Sean like what just happened and please tell me that will never happen again!

This weekend is going to be very uneventful for us and we love it! Weekends with no plans are always few and far between for us so we try to embrace them when they come. We are just spending our time with Tristan and Isabelle and cleaning the house for our showing tomorrow!

I would like to say one thing though...I would like to welcome my cousin Nicole to SIUE! She moved down here yesterday to start her freshman year at SIUE and I am so excited to have some family down here with me! And I promise not to bug her to often! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

"Hey Big Stupid Tony"

Well another weekend back at Grandma's house. And you can tell from the header of this entry it was quite a comical weekend. We got up there on Friday and got to spend sometime with everyone....Vanessa and the girls had to leave before we got there so we were sad that we missed them. On Saturday we took Tristan and Isabelle to the fair. That was a lot of fun! Tristan was so excited to see the "manimals" and then when he found out he got to go on the giant slide it was like life couldn't get any better for him! We really enjoyed walking around and seeing everything but we made sure to leave by noon before it got way to crowded! That night Mom had a houseful! Cassie, Josh, Cameron, Calynn, Aunt Denise, Uncle John, Joe, Aunt Nonny, Uncle Mark, Nick, a friend of Nick's named George, Grandma and Grandpa Moscardelli, us and then Mom, Dad and Tony. Mom cooked a wonderful meal but nothing is ever done in our house without a little bit of drama.....I won't say what but we will be getting a fire extinguisher for the Moscardelli household for Christmas. ;);) Just kidding Mom you know I love you! We had a very nice time listening to stories, watching baseball and the olympics. On Sunday the "Big" boys went golfing for the day while us ladies stayed behind and hung out with the kiddos. It was nice to be able to chit chat as much as we could in between "Mom" "Hey Mom" "Mommy!" I also got to pick up my bow board that Mom made me and see Cassie's bows for the first time. I am not for sure how many of you have checked out her blog but she is starting to test the waters of bow making and she does a really good job. The pink bow that Isabelle has on in these pictures was made by her Aunt Cassie and if you go over to her site she has some on display that she has made! (Anybody in the market for bows check it out she does a really good job!)

After a fun weekend up at Grandma's it was time to come back home. Tristan is always a little sad when we have to leave Grandma and Papa's but he looks forward to our next visit! Oh and if you are wondering about the header of this post....well that is how Cameron referred to his Uncle Tony when he was trying to get him to come and play....I believe that it went like this "Hey you Big Stupid Tony get over here"

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Sorry for all of the pictures on this one but it was a great weekend for pictures!

Potty!

I forgot to post last night that Tristan went poopy in the potty yesterday!! OMG! He was so excited. I was downstairs feeding Isabelle and he came downstairs and said "Potty Boy!" I didn't understand what he was saying so I asked him to say it again and he said "Potty Boy Mommy Lookie!" We went upstairs and he showed me that he went in the potty! He was so proud that we had to quickly call Grandma, Aunt Cassie and Aunt Nessa. He told all of them about going on the potty! He has gone once since then so we are moving in the right direction!

We are so proud of our "potty boy!"

We knew it would happen!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Vanessa started a blog too. I have linked her on the side of my page so be sure and check her out. (And by the way despite what an email says there was no harassing going on....I just simply said since I started one and Cassie started one that it was inevitable that Vanessa wouldn't be far behind:):)

PS The blog below I did not post....that short non descriptive post is from Sean:)

Empty Lot Pictures

We closed on our construction loan today. Thursday and Friday they will be planning the site. Digging should start Monday or Tuesday. I will post more pictures as soon as they start digging.

Isabelle's Four Month Appt!

Isabelle had her four month appt today with our wonderful Dr Kellow. She weighs 14 pounds 4 ounces. She is in the 50th percentile for her height, weight and her head. She is growing so big everyday that I thought I would share some more pictures of her that I took this morning!!

Just another weekend!

This weekend was an overall good weekend. We got to spend a lot of time with the kids and that always makes for a good time. Sometimes it is so hard because you know that you also need adult time but then again we just miss them so much when we are not there. We went to a gathering at Dave and Crystals house and it was really fun to see all the kids interact together. We were a little nervous about how Kaelynn and Tristan would play together because on Thursday they did not quite mesh well. On Saturday though they had such a good time together. They got along great and really had a good time.

Today we had an open house so we had to cut grass and clean the house this morning in preparation for this. As you can see from the picture Sean's grass cutting has become a little bit difficult. He is a good daddy though and lets Tristan stay up there almost the whole time that he cuts grass. The open house went good. We have had a lot of interest in the house it is just getting that interest into the sale. Keep your fingers crossed for us that that happens. We close on our construction loan on Wednesday so our new house will start on Thursday.

Next weekend we are going to go up and see Cassie and Calynn. We are really excited to see Calynn out of her little area of the hospital. Cassie says that she is doing great and we can't wait to introduce Isabelle to her. I will be sure and post pics from that visit.

Have a great week and if anything exciting happens I will be sure to post!

Be sure and check out Cassie's blog!

Hey Everyone!

My sister Cassie has started a blog as well so that she can keep everyone updated on the Big C and the Little C. I have linked her on the side of my blog so be sure and check her out!!!

4 Months Old!

Yesterday Isabelle turned 4 months old! It has been a wonderful four months of her in our life and we have learned so much about her in such a short amount of time. Here is our little princess peanut in a nutshell:

1. She likes to have matching bows for every outfit....oh wait maybe that is me:)

2. She needs to eat on time if not before or she gets very mad at her Mom and Dad.

3. She loves to suck on her fingers or anyone else's fingers.

4. She takes a passy but really could go without.

5. She loves her brother and thinks that he is really funny but doesn't like when he tries to hug her to hard.

6. She loves for people to talk to her and listen to her talk back. This makes her smile the most!

Here are a few pictures that we took of her on her 4 month birthday!

First night on cereal!

What do you have in there Mommy? Hi Daddy.....what is Mommy doing?
This seems like fun!
Wait a minute I am not for sure about this!!!
I love watching my sister spit her food out!!!!
Tonight was Isabelle's first try at cereal. She will be 4 months old on Friday so we decided to give it a try this week. Lets just say it didn't go over so well. I think Tristan was more excited to see Isabelle eat then Isabelle was to eat it.

The Frye's have left the building!

Hello Hello! The Fryes went home this afternoon. Calynn made great progress today and she got to go home with her Mommy and Daddy!

WELCOME HOME CASSIE AND CALYNN!

Calynn update!

Just thought I would let everyone know that Calynn is doing better. She has all of her tubes removed and is in a normal baby bed. She is eating almost 2 ounces every three hours. Cassie seems to be in much better spirits then yesterday and are hopeful that they will be going home together tonight!
Thanks for all of your thoughts!

More of Calynn

Hey Everyone!! Cassie's best friend Kylee sent me some pics of Calynn so I thought I would share!

To the new Mr and Mrs Reinbold!

What a great weekend. A new baby and a beautiful wedding. Life doesn't get any better then that. Seans best friend Jason got married this weekend and it was such a wonderful time. We got to see old friends, new friends and just enjoy the weekend! (Thank you to Tammy and Jen for watching Tristan and Isabelle!) The ceremony was great and the priest that did the wedding was amazing! He really got to know them in such a short amount of time and it was just really nice. The reception was at a country club in the St Louis area and it was just beautiful. It was closed down for the reception and it was just beautiful. So congrats Jason and Chrissie!!!

Now a few updates...........Cassie and Calynn are doing good. Calynn has had some breathing problems due to the fluid in her lungs but everyone is telling us that this is very normal for c-section babies and all will be fine. The did take her off of her IV today and moved her to a normal bed. She still can't come out of the baby room yet so Cassie and Josh have been going down there and spending a lot of their time with her in the baby room. The Dr did come in this afternoon and say if Calynn continues to progress the way she is they might be able to take her home tomorrow night! So we are hoping for that!

On the home front............we listed our house with a realtor a week ago we had 3 showings this week and one scheduled for Tuesday! We are very excited about the interest we have received so far so we are hoping that this is a good sign for things to come!

I will keep everyone updated on Cassie and Calynn!!! Have a great week!
